Mini Biography

David Blayne was born 19 April, Alabama, USA. Raised in Birmingham, Blayne wasn't really into music but more so sports growing up. While a junior in high school Blayne met a group of guys that were singing on the schoolyard and took an immediate interest.  There he began to write songs and learn to play the piano and guitar.  Not long after DB joined a group of 5 guys that went on to win a car in a Talent contest that was held by the SCLC. Drawing on Blayne's talent and experience of performing with powerhouse R&B groups like Silk, labels took an immediate interest. Blayne's first official release was with a Indie Label with major distribution. Due to many inadequacies, the album didn't have a chance to be exploited properly.  Shortly after this experience Blayne began to get involved with every aspect of the business. Production, Imaging, & Marketing are some of the things that sparked an immediate. Blayne went on to establish PhotoMajiq Imaging Studio where his company currently serves small businesses, churches, artist, and more with photography and graphic design.Credits include:XXL, Ebony Jet, & Ozone. Not stopping there after producing the music that landed him the 1st record deal, he opened MajiqSound Studio.

Blayne met WakaFlockaFlames at his studio (MajiqSound) in Atlanta. There was a great amount of production chemistry with Blayne and WakaFlocka. They begin to created records that got the attention of the streets immediately. Waka was already on the road with GucciMane at the time.  Blayne was an instrumental part in Wakaflocka’s Mixtapes LEBRON FLOCKA JAMES pt.1 & pt.2. DB recorded, mixed, mastered, and featured on those 2 mixtapes which did and still is doing extremely well. DB also laced a hook with Waka that currently has 9.7million views and counting on worldstar hip hop.

After completing a number of street records with artist such as GucciMane, WakaFlocka, OjDaJuiceman, to name a few,  Blayne had to find a way to bridge the gap between the hood-hiphop and R&B. So, The TRAPAHOLICS - R&B Straight Drop Mixtape was born.  This tape has the perfect balance between the street music & r&b.  It features WakaFlocka, OjDaJuiceman, GucciMane.  It also has RickRoss's BMF producer LEXLUGER, MikeDaRockman, and DavidBlayne Blayne's team MajiqSound on it.  It's something for the ladies and the fellas.Look for an increasing impact on the industry from DavidBlayne as the support of streets grow.
